Product Codification : The products are assigned Catalog Nos. based on product type. lamp type, No of   lamps and wattage of the lamp used. Given below is an example to explain the process of codification.

First letter : W : WIPRO : Common for all products

Second letter : Product type :
	D - Domestic	C - Commercial
	I - Industrial	H - Highbay
	S - Street light	F - Flood light
	W - Well glass	K - Bulkhead
	P - Post top	G - Control gear
	B - Ballast	A - Aviation
Tird letter : Type of lamp :
	G - GLS (Incandescent Lamp)
	F - Linear Fluorescent Lamp
	P - Compact Fluorescent Lamp
	C - Fluorescent Circular Lamp
	M - High Pressure Mercury Vapour Lamp
	S - High Pressure Sodium Vapour (Elliptical) Lamp
	T - High Pressure Sodium Vapour (Tubular) Lamp
	Q - Tungsten Halogen Lamp
	N - Neon Spiral Lamp
	H - Metal Halide Lamp

First two numerals : Product code as per design methodology
Third numeral : No. of lamps in the luminaire
Last two numerals : Wattage of lamps used in the luminaire.
Exceptions :
In case of HID luminaires (Mercury / Sodium / Metal Halide) the last three numerals represent the lamp wattage. Number of lamps is not indicated.

In case of Aviation obstruction luminaire the numerals do not represent the wattage of the lamp.
